Air Show 09

I attended the Air Show in Monroe, NC with my dad the other day and had an absolute blast! No pun intended. LOL

All of the planes were really cool to watch and they were a great photo op for me. These are a few of the shots I got and I will be posting more as soon as I can. I hope everybody enjoys them as much as I do.

Layla the Frisbee Dog

This is Layla....I have had the pleasure of meeting her and her owner James at Petpalooza this Spring. James was kind enough to allow me to take pictures of Layla in action.

She is just so much fun to watch, and a lot of fun to photograph! You can really tell she loves what she is doing.
I want to thank James and Layla for letting me have some fun with my camera and I hope they had as much fun as I did!

Back in the Saddle

Hello everyone. As you know, I have not been writing on this blog for the past couple of months. I have been dealing with some life changes and haven't been good about keeping up with this part of my life. But, I am back and promise to start posting some new pictures very soon. From now on, it is a new life and there are so many things I want to do and share. I am looking forward to moving on and enjoying life to the fullest.

Thanks for your patience,

Brandie

Frostbite

Isn't this little pig just the cutest thing? She walked around with her owner all day long just looking like a princess.

More from the Frostbite Show

This little girl and her pony just captured my heart. They appeared to be quite a team.

Frostbite Show

I recently got the opportunity to shoot at the Frostbite horseshow held at Why Not an American Ark in Monroe, NC. I had a great time capturing everyone in their competitive mode!

It was a great experience for me and I hope everybody will be happy with their pictures.

Our Sweet Little Imperio

Meet Imperio, better known here at the barn as Dick! He can look just like a Christmas pony sometimes. He has been with us since before he was born and everything has to always be about him. He will climb his waterer and hang out over his stall just to get your attention. I don't think I have ever met a horse that is so in love with people!

I took a few pics of him this weekend when I turned him out. The only problem was that he wouldn't stay away from us. Most horses want to run and kick up their heels. Oh No! Not him. He just wanted to eat grass and get rubbed by his human counterparts. Go Figure! I was lucky to get any shots of him without his head in the grass at all. But, that is why we love him so!

Gunner and Chato

This is Gunner, my parents Black Lab. He has to be one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met. Well, right next to my Chato boy of course. I took this on Gunners first run out on the farm. As you can see, he is quite happy to be running free.
Chato and Gunner have been best buddies since they were puppies. They are only a couple of months apart. It was fun watching them have a good time together.

Dreaming of Spring

Oh! How I dream of Spring, where the sun is shining, the flowers are in bloom and the butterflys are just taking flight!

More of Belly Dancer

Here are some more of my photographs from Asheville.

Belly Dancer

My best friend Allison and I went to Asheville this weekend and played photo shoot again. We have a friend that let us borrow his studio. I have never shot in a studio setting before, so it was a lot of fun. He taught me a lot about lighting and how to use it.
Allison is a belly dancer, so I photographed her in different costumes. She is just a stunning person and a beautiful model. I love photographing her.

Here are just a few of the photos I took of her. There are more where these came from.
